Dr Matodsi Mukosi has been appointed the new chief executive at Tygerberg Hospital.
A new chief executive officer (CEO) has been appointed at the Western Capeâs largest hospital recently.
Tygerberg Hospital, which boasts a bed capacity of 1 384 and 4 700 staff members, recently welcomed Dr Matodsi Mukosi (51), newly appointed to take control of this important institution. He was previously the CEO of the Red Cross War Memorial Childrenâs Hospital.
Dr Nomafrench Mbombo, Western Cape Minister of Health, commented that she is thrilled to welcome Mukosi as the new CEO.
Dr Keith Cloete, head of the Health Department, also wished him all the best in his new role adding that they are confident he will lead the hospital through the next exciting chapter of its journey as an iconic health institution.
