AUSTIN, Texas - The Clemson Tigers finished up the first day of Texas Relays in Austin as multiple athletes recorded top 15 finishes and all Tigers that competed finishes within the top 25 in their respective events. Shining on the day was Marie Forbes as she secured fifth-place overall in the women's hammer throw with a mark of 62.70m. On the men's side, Matt Auble threw a new personal best of 56.52 in the men's hammer throw. The mark is currently ranked No. 7 all-time on Clemson's all-time list. Theron Bradford ran 53.67 in the men's 400 meter hurdles, marking a new personal best for the senior which helped him secure a 10th place overall finish. The Tigers are back in action tomorrow, March 29 as they are set to compete in the second day of Texas Relays. The meet will start at 9 a.m. CT with the men's discus throw.
