Subscriber only A man in his 40s, understood to be a tradesman, has been taken to hospital with burns after a power board exploded at a prominent Coast school campus. Paramedics and firefighters were called to Matthew Flinders Anglican College on Stringybark Rd, Buderim, shortly after 9am on Friday, after reports of a small explosion. It was understood a power board had exploded at a job site where some renovations were being undertaken. Firefighters were called but not required, while paramedics attended and treated a man in his 40s for burns. Energex staff were called to the scene and a Queensland Police Service spokesman said officers were also tasked.
