Things come to mind, security and safety, convenience comes to mind, and just the ability to have that peace of mind that they know they can get in touch with their kids. my kid is 7. and theres a couple of students in his class that have a cell phone. im not there yet. most doctors recommend holding off until theyre 15 or 16. im at least going to hold off until 11 or 12. its a personal decision on your own kids maturity and if you feel youll be away from the kid often enough that you need to be...
