The University and College Union has confirmed strikes will resume in February unless its pension and pay demands are met.

Two other students have been excluded for a year for serious breaches of the University’s Sexual Misconduct and Violence Policy.

The Acting Vice-Chancellor emailed all students this afternoon saying “I take huge pride in the way in which our community is broadly responding”, as over 300 students turned up to a protest at South College.

Professor Luckhurst told Palatinate “I regret any offence that has arisen, but I fear we have no right not to be offended”, while Durham University said it was “looking into this as a matter of urgency”.
