Greenock couple close in on £50,000 landmark for children's charity

DELICIOUS sweet treats baked by a dedicated Greenock fundraiser and her husband have helped raise almost £50,000 for charity. Carol Ann Tracey and her husband Tom have been fundraising for Children s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) for the last 13 years. The big-hearted couple usually organise bingo nights and events at the Regent Club to raise money and Tom has taken on the Edinburgh marathon several times for the cause. The coronavirus outbreak last year threatened to halt Tom and Carol Ann s fundraising plans - but the couple wanted to keep the money coming in. Carol Ann always makes mouth-watering tablet for the events the couple organise.
