Cazoo’s acquisition of used car valuations data provider Cazana left a “gap in the market”, according to its former vice president of insight and analytics Rupert Pontin.

Cazoo has kicked-off its plan to cut its marketing costs as part of its bid to save £200 million per year with the loss of its high-profile Premier League shirt sponsorship deal with Everton FC.

The online car retailer Cazoo has revealed it wants to cut costs by £200 million by the end of 2023, which will include around 750 job cuts.
