Mbeya RC tasks DCs and DEDs to establish windows for elders
MBEYA Regional Commissioner. Juma Homera has given 14 days to District Commissioners (DCs) and District Executive Directors (DEDs) of all districts in the region to establish special windows in hospitals to serve elders.

He issued the directives at the weekend during his meeting with elders’ representatives from the region’s all districts, and added that thereafter he will inspect the hospitals to ensure his directives had been implemented.
He said after that he would not like seeing elders standing in queues at health centres, subjected to foul language or eve n told to purchase medicines from private pharmacies.
POLICE in Mbeya Region have detained one youth, Daniel Manga, better known as ‘Hofu’ resident of Iheha Village in Mbarali District for allegedly killing his father, Victor Manga (79) accusing him of being a witch.
