Falling in line behind him in the administration. >> ned price, i imagine this conversation makes your head explode. let me read something david ignatius wrote. jared kushner urged mbs last weekend to organize an investigation that could identify the culprit responsible for khashoggis death, two sources told me. the next day after speak with the saudi king, the president sid he thought rogue killers within saudi arabias government may have been responsible. seemingly telegraphing a fall guy stra...

I dont like that. we just went through that with justice kavanaugh and he was innocent all the way, as far as im concerned." meanwhile, a high-level turkish official told the a.p. today that police searching the saudi consulate found evidence that khashoggi was indeed killed there. secretary of state mike pompeo actually traveled to saudi arabia and met with king salman and his favorite son, the crown prince, mbs, mohammed bin salman, about khashoggis disappearance. a state department spokespers...

Interrogation or a rendition attempt that went horribly awry. by claiming that this thing was carried out by rogue agents, not controlled by the saudi government, that would presumably be an effort to absolve the saudi leadership, particularly to absolve the crown prince, mbs, of any responsibility. it would allow mohammed bin salman, the crown prince to say that he didnt order the killing of jamal khashoggi. someone went rogue. he cant be held accountable for it. well, now tonight "the new york...

Think, and also sort of lay bare saudi arabias response thus far to the disappearance of jamal khashoggi, but also president trumps response as well. i mean, the bottom line here is that we still have exactly no idea what happened to jamal khashoggi. two weeks ago today, he walked into the saudi consulate in istanbul and he just disappeared, never heard from again. now turkey has been saying that he was lured in to that consulate and then killed by a 15-man team, a kill-team, that flew in from r...

Gets off planes, standing guard. presumably, if this guy, this same guy was present in the saudi consulate in istanbul when jamal khashoggi disappeared inside that consulate, then that would provide a direct link between the ruler of saudi arabia, the crown prince, mbs, and the disappearance or the killing of mr. khashoggi. it would be a heck of a coincidence if this guy who travels with him and is always seen with him also happened to be in that consulate, and mbs had no idea, really? it would ...

Profiles, a database of saudi cell phone numbers, saudi news reports, leaked saudi government documents, and in some cases, the accounts of witnesses in saudi arabia and countries the crown prince has visited. so "the times" tonight says theyre able to place a number of the suspects identified by turkey in the disappearance of mr. khashoggi as being in the same place as mohammed bin salman, being in the same place as the crown prince, mbs, on several occasions. and this is the guy who is going t...

>> you know, i dont know -- i just dont know how to respond to that. here you have a guy who was a critic of the despotic saudi government. walks into the embassy in turkey, saudi embassy and disappears. and the turks are saying that he was killed. nobody has heard from him and trump thinks this is a false allegation. look, what you got right now is a president who is frankly and sadly very, very -- very significa significantly sympathetic to authoritarian type people like bin salman in saudi ar...

Detail related to the crown prince who were present, plus a forensic doctor whos trained in autopsies, plus a bone saw. none of that, i think, would take place without permission from the highest levels in the saudi government. we know what the turks are saying about what took place. they say they have audio and videos. we havent seen them but that indicates that a gruesome murder took place within that consulate. and lastly, look, this is two weeks now since this happened, two weeks, and it too...

It sends the wrong message, in my view. were put in a position where the united states are helping the saudis cover up a murder. >> hmm. congressman dent, i want to play this. this is senator lindsey graham making the point that nothing happens in saudi arabia without mbs knowing about it. he said this. watch. >> we want to sanction the hell out of saudi arabia. we deal with bad people all the time. but this is in our face. i feel personally offended. they have nothing but con temp for us. this ...

You know, kidnap reporters in their consulates and torture people and the u.s. isnt going to do anything about it. >> thats exactly right, anderson. donald trump has basically given every tyrant on the planet a license to kill. just on sunday in the "60 minutes" interview, he was asked about what vladimir putin does, which includes trying to kill dissidents in great britain, and donald trump basically said its not in our country so he doesnt care. this basically gives a license to the worst elem...
