MILFORD, Del.- With 3:30 left in regulation, Polytech’s McKinley Boyce sent a corner into the box and found the head of Julian Coleman as she got it past the keeper for the game winner. The 1-0 win over Milford victory keeps the Panthers win streak alive which stands at 6-0, the loss drops the Buccaneers to 4-4.
The Panthers came into todays matchup on a five game win streak, the longest in the Henlopen. The Bucs have had a few quality wins this season but were coming off a tough 8-1 loss to Caesar Rodney.
The wind was playing a major factor throughout the entire game, neither team able to get any good shots off. Milford dominated the time of possession in the first half, kicking with the wind allowing them keep the ball on their side of the field but weren’t able to get the ball in the net.
