Since then, millions of people around the world have been living in isolation in an effort to slow the spread of the disease and to protect the most vulnerable among us. Isolation is good for individuals and the collective, but that doesn't mean it's easy. The CDC acknowledges that quarantine can have a negative effect on mental health, and has provided advice for coping.
