Two members of a transnational racket today confessed to a magistrate that they were involved in trafficking young women and girls to India for one year.
They are: Mehedi Hasan Babu and Mohiuddin.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Debbrata Biswas recorded the confessional statements of Mehedi and Mohiuddin after the duo were produced at the magistrate s chamber on completion of a five-day remand in a case filed for trafficking a young girl who returned home from India last month after escaping captivity, court sources said.
