LEETONIA – Bids are being sought for the turf replacement at the K-12 campus stadium and will be opened May 11.
Superintendent Dennis Dunham this week reported a legal notice advertising for bids for the project that includes replacing the current top soil field with synthetic turf as well as installation of a drainage system. The documents will remain online for approximately two weeks
Dunham said excavating is set to start May 12 with the drainage work beginning May 24. The project is on schedule to be completed Aug. 19, one day before the first home football game.
Bids will be opened May 11 in the board offices. A special board meeting will be scheduled that day to award a bid.
