The Hord Family Farms history, as shared by fifth generation Phil Hord. About 1905, Guy Hord purchased a tract of land, still owned today, on the Crawford-Marion counties line just off Ohio 98. It’s called a Century Farm — over 100 years old. His family farm, over his lifetime, grew to over 500 acres, a large farm at the time, with row crops and fruit orchard.
