Last year’s Relay for Life in Wexford was the first without founder, leader and force of nature Gay Murphy at the helm. With Gay having passed away the previous September, the committee were forced to pick themselves up, dust themselves off and continue the wonderful legacy which she had created.
Wexford Relay for Life have revealed that their 2023 event, held at the Faythe Harriers Pitch in Páirc Charman, was by far their most successful yet, raising a total of €310,000 for the Irish Cancer Society.
