Man wanted in connection to deadly Merced shooting

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) Merced police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred last December.
Investigators say Anthony Perez was involved in the shooting that left two people dead and a third injured at the Evergreen Park Apartments on Santa Fe and Glen Avenues on December 2.

Perez is on parole and has been involved in gang activity. He also has previous firearms and assault charges on his record.
14-year-old charged with murder in deadly Merced shooting
A 14-year-old boy has officially been charged with murder in connection to the deadly shooting of a 22-year-old man in Merced.

MERCED, Calif. (KFSN) A 14-year-old boy has officially been charged with murder in connection to the deadly shooting of a 22-year-old man in Merced.
Merced police arrested the teen last week. The shooting happened on February 10 on West 11th and M Streets around 3:15 pm.
Police believe the victim, a 22-year-old Adrian Llamas, was sitting in his car when the teenager shot him. Investigators said the shooting was gang-related.
The Merced County District Attorney s Office says the murder charges against the teen were filed in a juvenile court, but prosecutors have petitioned for the case to be tried in adult court.
