Kilgore City Council swore in two new members and two standing members were sworn in to their next terms at a recent council meeting, following the results of the May 4 general election.
A large group of local citizens turned up to the City of Kilgore's latest meeting to hear discussions on an eventful agenda, which included discussions of official conduct, the use of confidential information and allegations of conflicts of interest.
However, those discussions were tabled for a future meeting, allowing the city time to discuss and implement a new ethics policy.
