Print Making his San Diego Opera debut in the upcoming drive-in production of “The Barber of Seville” is bass singer Peixin Chen. Chen, who plays Don Basilio, is a rising opera talent from China who recently graduated from the Houston Grand Opera Studio and was part of San Francisco Opera’s prestigious Merola Program.
