Arizona’s universal school voucher program that was estimated to cost only $65 million is now poised to cost the state $900 million over the next year, exceeding its available funding by hundreds of millions of dollars.
“Women in Engineering,” at Costa Mesa’s Hertzog Community Center from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m., gives students in grades 7 through 12 a chance to meet women working in engineering fields.
Final designs for the performing arts complex in its new location were submitted to the Division of the State Architect in late January, more than two years after the first set of plans was filed.
