Eveleth, MN (KROC AM News) - A northeast Minnesota woman was injured Tuesday night after her car collided with a moose.
The woman was driving on Highway 135 in rural St Louis County near the Mesabi Trail just before midnight when her car struck the moose as it was standing on the roadway.
The State Patrol says 50-year-old Barbara Wellington of Babbitt was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
There was no report on the moose.
