Die Bundesregierung will deutsche Zivilisten und 2000 afghanische Ortskräfte nach der Machtübernahme der Taliban aus dem Land ausfliegen. Das Kanzleramt plant offenbar, mehrere Hundert Bundeswehrsoldaten in das Krisengebiet zu verlegen. Der Bundestag könnte nächste Woche darüber abstimmen.
