Populations and we were able to get it up and running pretty quick. So here is some of the outcomes of the grant to date. We have been able to assist through the outreach and education event and the 101 navigator appointments over 78,000 individuals and attended hundreds of outreach programs and held 17,000 or more navigator appointments and that includes doing the application and setting up the account and they come back and want to pick a plan and enroll and so that doesnt always happen with every consumer in that order, but consumer appointments include all of those activities. We had almost a 100 navigators trained at any given time throughout the state. Those navigators not only completed the 20 hours of training that is required but in florida they were required to be finger printed, background checked and registered with the state. So those hundred navigators covered the 64 counties that were our target region. We were able to assist in a wide range of languages. The top five ar

Certain level of Health Literacy to the consumers that have health insurance. Transportation is a significant issue in the rural area so we had to include a lot of mobile navigators. It could not be someone sitting in an office waiting for folks to come to them. We had to go where they were and be convenient in terms of hours and physical location so they could connect to the consumer assistance they needed. And we were dealing with trust issues among hard to reach populations and they are so wide in terms of their diversity we had to make sure we were working with the right stakeholders in each community who could speak the language and understood the culture issues when we communicate about Something Like this. In addition to the lack of coverage opportunities when i addressed in the previous slides among the lowest income population. We had lots of people coming in and there are always those that fell on the lowest income range that could not obtain coverage under the effort. A key

San Francisco Police say they were forced to use flash bang grenades to subdue a man they say threatened to kill himself following a dui stop. It happened on the believed between clement street and gary boulevard. Police pulled over a man they say was armed with a knife. The man cut himself and threatened suicide. Authorities used those flash bang grenades to subdue and detain him. The man has been hospitalized. Police have cleared 16 squatters from a San Francisco building.
