OKLAHOMA CITY -
Since 2016, Love's Travel Stops has given $100,000 each year to Oklahoma City Public Schools. This year, they increased the donation to $300,000 to include 11 school districts in the Oklahoma City area.
Love's Travel Stops is a national company with more than 550 stores in 41 states and is headquartered in Oklahoma City. For Love's, being a part of the community means giving back to the community.
“What we really wanted to do was increase the impact we make in the Oklahoma City area,” said Jenny Love Meyer, Love's executive vice president and chief culture officer.
With the stress the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the schools, the timing really fit the issues, Meyer said.
