Car strikes 16-year-old horseback rider in Calumet County, victim in critical condition It happened around 1:30 p.m. Officials say the 16-year-old rider was flighted by ThedaStar to the hospital and is in critical condition. Pedestrian struck in Meyer Road crash dies The Journal Gazette A pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Meyer Road Tuesday morning has died, the Allen County coroners office said today. Ollie Denise Lyons, 23, of Fort Wayne died Thursday, the coroners office said in a statement. It said she died accidentally from multiple blunt-force injuries because of the crash.
