Michael Close pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity in the shooting death of Isabella Thallas in Denver’s Ballpark neighborhood last summer, according to Thallas' family.

Isabella Thallas was killed by a stolen firearm in June 2020. Now, her mother is pushing for a bill she says will prevent similar tragedies in the future.
