Mornings and this started out poorly. North bound 101 is backed up beyond the 280 interchange to the lower deck. We are hoping that the crash being cleared out of the way will make it better than it was. It was pretty slow for a time. Getting into San Francisco, there was a stalled vehicle as well. Thats on the bay bridge. If you look at the bay bridge toll plaza it is slower than it normally is backed up for a 30 minute delay as you head toward the city. Lets talk about some other commutes. We have a look at the east bay commute, south bound 880 slowing from hey ward to fremont and san mateo commute will be moderately heavy. Lets go to steve with the weather. Thank you. Good morning. Welcomewelcome. It is very good to be here. Very good to have you. Today is the last day to register to vote in the november 8th lects. Thats right. There are a number of ways you can get it done. Janine is live in san jose to tell us about some options if you are not registered yet. You have been talking with people about how theyre feeling heading into the election. Reporter Election Officials are predicting an 80 to 85 voter turn out for this president ial election. Theyre hoping that more people register to vote today. You can do that by going to your county Registrars Office or you can register online. Make sure that you do that online before midnight. It only takes five to ten minutes. In santa clara, 850,000 people registered to vote. Thats a higher number than four years ago.
