KINGSTON, Jamaica Edwin Allen High won two of the four high school girls’ sprint relays at Saturday’s 47th Gibson/McCook Relays at the National Stadium as they look towards next month’s ISSA Girls' Championships. The Michael Dyke-coached girls won Classes 1 and 2, St Jago High won Class 3 and Hydel High retained their Class 4 title, all four races ran during a light rain. The Edwin Allen team ran 45.68 seconds.

After four days of fierce competition, Kingston College (KC) and Edwin Allen High girls are still leading their respective sections at the 110th staging of the ISSA-GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls Athletics Championships at the National Stadium in Kingston.
Another 36 finals remain in the championships with KC looking to make it a second straight title and 33 overall despite piercing pressure from Jamaica College (JC) while Edwin Allen are clear favourites for a sixth straight girls’ title and seventh overall.
