CBS News Detroit sat down with Benjamin Kable's father, Michael Kable, who vividly remembers the morning he received the life-changing call.

Federal authorities allege Tubtim Sue Howson fled to her home country just days after a fatal crash to avoid prosecution for Ben Kables death.

"When encouraged to turn herself in to police, Howson allegedly stated, 'no cops, no cops,'" an FBI agent said.

Tubtim "Sue" Howson allegedly failed to stop after the crash that killed Benjamin Kable on Jan. 1. The FBI believes she fled to avoid prosecution.

Family of Benjamin Kable, who was killed in a hit-and-run on Jan. 1, said they will hopefully find closure if the person responsible is found.
