In a recent development, over 2,000 retired soldiers from the Botswana Defence Force (BDF) have been granted permission to proceed with their trial against the government. The retired soldiers claim that the transition from the BDF pension scheme to the Botswana Public Officers Pension Fund (BPOPF) is unlawful.
