Pembroke Mayor Michael LeMay said this was another example of the hard work being done by staff and council to update the City’s bylaws.
“It’s important to keep up to date,” he said.
The first notable change to the property standards bylaw is a reduction in the amount of time a property owner has to comply with an order to deal with long grass and weeds. The notification period has been reduced from 14 days to comply to seven.
