Budweiser Downtown Ocean Springs Crawfish Cook-off Saturday
There will be 25 teams battling for bragging rights and cash prizes.

It is the third annual event and starts at noon at Pleasant’s BBQ on Government Street. There will be live music and almost 3,000 pounds of crawfish cooked and the event ends when the crawfish runs out.
Pleasant’s BBQ Owner Michael Pleasant started the event, which might raise a few eyebrows considering his specialty is barbeque. “Well, listening to everybody brag about who is the best, we decided to have some friendly competition and see who really is the best. Everybody in the neighborhood seems to enjoy the good music, good food, and it is a fun Saturday.”
