Have we taken our eyes off the prize? This is the question fueling the theme for this year’s annual MLK Day observance. The University of Kentucky, along with the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government and other community sponsors, will kick off this year’s MLK Day celebration at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15 with the annual holiday Freedom March, beginning at Central Bank Center in downtown Lexington. Directly following the march, the Commemorative Program will be held at 2 p.m. at Central Bank Center.
