Nassau rent board approves hikes of up to 2% for rent-regulated units
The Nassau County Rent Guidelines Board authorized landlords to raise rent by as much as 1% for one-year leases and 2% for two-year leases beginning Oct. 1, except for in the Village of Hempstead because of concerns about negligent landlords.
