A Little Rock police sergeant was relieved of duty over the weekend after his arrest on misdemeanor charges in Lonoke County, according to a news release from the department.
Pontotoc Police Lieutenant Jeffrey Turner, who died December 27, 2021, from COVID complications, was among eight officers whose names were added to the Wall of Mississippi’s Fallen Officers this year.
