World, they are taking this seriously. >> absolutely. i think in some ways we knew this based on trumps tweets. i tell people, watch his tweets. thats what he cares about, what he is focused on. we have had eight trump tweets on omarosa over the last 24 hours. this was not something that he was sort of dismissing. the other thing i would say is, remember what we know about donald trump. this is someone who is quite litigious and has been his whole life. >> he also says he never settles, and he d...

Treat them with less respect. thats where we are. whats clear here is that omarosa really has gotten under his skin to a degree that i dont think we have seen. certainly not with the michael wolf book in the past and previous breaks from this white house. again, its all around this third rail or central rail of race, you know. this idea of race and racism. you see president trump row aeag in a strong way in trying to discredit her. >> is, ron, the president being racist with calling her a dog? y...

Wolfe? its going back to my point in the "angle" ," the useful protesters, useful idiots, useful never-trumpers. it most of them have been discredited for one reason or another but they are useful for the by any means necessary remove trump approach to things. >> they are also emblematic of the president brought them into the white house, including michael wolf, he brought omarosa to the white house. he gave her a job. their security protocols were so lax she could record things in the white hou...

Fire and fury became a best seller when the president attacked michael wolf. there hasnt been as much interest in omarosas book. i think that speaks to the fact that a lot of people dont find her credible. "washington post" said that the details on the tapes matched the details in the book. so there is some evidence that some of what she is saying has some bearing. no matter what you think of omarosa she spent a year in the white house. she spent a year there right along side the president. she ...

Ramification be of her recording a conversation in the situation room? >> first of all, theres a question of whether or not the recording will alter the impact that her book has. and suspect once again not. weve seen things coming out of this white house which are unethical, which are different from what weve seen in other white houses. so i think once again if you look at the public reaction there will be a lack of surprise. it also isnt the first time were going to see a book come out that tel...

>> low life. smes she is a low life. >> she is a low life. ana we should point out the white house pushed back on allegations from omarosa. sources tell cnn this is a strategy to try to poke holes in her credibility. similar to what we saw after michael wolf published his explosive book, we will likely hear more from the white house attempting to poke holes again in omarosas arguments. >> in the meantime president trump slamming his own attorney general jeff sessions in of an afternoon tweet sto...

And mighty. she didnt do anything running the office much the public liaison. she was an incompetent aide and now shes trying to cash in. she cant even get her facts straight in the npr interview where she says, oh, yeah, i wrote about it in my book but the book says she never heard the tapes directly. why should we trust her? i wouldnt trust her to walk across the street. >> thats why donald trump hired her. its the combination of last year. he surrounds himself with people he likes, the cultur...

Accusations." how worried are the white house about this? they are wor >> theyre worried about the book after all. theyll see omarosa will be recounting at her time at the white house and about being fired from the fire house. there could be more to come. it is a concern of the white house if this narrative takes hold and as she portrays president trump being racist and being unfit for the job of president. remember a year ago when michael wolfs book fi"fire and fury" ce out, that was a troubl...
