Authorities say an asylum seeker was sexually assaulted by an armed guard at a federal building in New York City where the FBI has its offices. An indictment unsealed Monday in Manhattan federal court charged Jimmy Solano-Arias with deprivation of rights involving kidnapping and aggravated sexual abuse. The charge carries a maximum sentence of life in prison. The 42-year-old Bronx resident was arrested and charged on May 5, a day after the attack allegedly occurred. According to court documents, Solano-Arias admitted that the asylum seeker performed oral sex but claimed it was consensual. Solano-Arias's lawyer did not comment.
