BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Michigan State Police Troopers want to remind everybody to stay vigilant and report suspicious activity as the theft of catalytic converters is on the rise.
Troopers from the Marshall Post are investigating a larceny of a catalytic converter, a stereo and a saws-all from the park and ride at Columbia Avenue and I-94 in Battle Creek which took place between February 18 and 22.
The victimâs vehicle was parked in the parking lot when the theft occurred. The suspects are unknown.

MARSHALL TOWNSHIP, MI (WNWN/WTVB) â The theft of items from a parked vehicle at a local motel is being investigated by Troopers from the Michigan State Police Post in Marshall.
Troopers say the larceny took place at the Arbor Inn in Marshall Township sometime between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. last Friday morning.
They report the suspects broke into a vehicle in the parking lot and stole a lock box and tools.
