Roller coasters come and go at Pennsylvania amusement parks. Most of the time they can last for many years. But, there was one coaster that only lasted a decade before it was decided to be removed.
So how was Wildcat s Revenge, the RMC rebuild of Hersheypark s Wildcat coaster? In a word, wild! The intensity was relentless and the pacing was spot on. I enjoyed it from beginning to finish.
Hersheypark's revamped Wildcat's Revenge roller coaster is now open for summer 2023 after the previous Wildcat roller coaster closed last year. The renovated roller coaster has a new steel track and reaches speeds up to 62 mph. The ride has a 140-foot hill that sends riders plunging at an 82-degree angle. It also has four inversions, including one that the central Pennsylvania amusement park calls the world's largest underflip.
