A rich-lister s manager has been sentenced after helping the prominent businessman try to dissolve an indecent assault allegation in an elaborate, outrageous and cynical plan . The man, who continues to have interim name suppression, appeared today in the High Court at Auckland after being found guilty of attempting to dissuade a complainant with bribes of future work opportunities from giving evidence.

A prominent businessman s sentencing has been delayed because of health concerns after he was convicted of indecently assaulting three men and trying to bribe one to drop their claims.
The rich-lister was found guilty by a High Court jury last month of indecently assaulting his victims in the early 2000s, 2008 and 2016.
The man, who continues to maintain name suppression, was also accused of twice trying to pervert the course of justice by offering a bribe for the 2016 victim to drop their claims.

A Kiwi entertainer sentenced to home detention for attempting to derail a rich–lister s trial continues to feature at the Tāmaki Herenga Waka permanent exhibition at Auckland War Museum.
