After more than two years in business, Better Half Brewing has closed its doors permanently.
Owner Mike Haseltine, who opened Better Half Brewing along with his wife, Rachel, in 2019, said in a Facebook post this week that the brewery’s final day in business was New Year’s Eve. He wrote that despite keeping doors open over the past few years in a pandemic, the challenges of running a small business mounted.

A Forest Lake church was filled with hundreds of motorcycles Sunday both in the parking lot and inside the building.
Maranatha Church held its annual Blessing of the Bikes as droves of bikers rode through the church doors to be prayed over. I know a lot of community members, but there s a lot people who traveled a long ways just because they heard about it, said the Rev. Mike Haseltine, a pastor at Maranatha Church. So its good to see good old friends and meet new ones.
Organizers say there was a large turnout for the event, which was canceled last year because of the pandemic.
