In the final day of filing on Monday, Ward 4 Alderman Andy Lester filed his petition to run for re-election. Lester is being challenged for his seat by Jeremy Curll.
As for the other open aldermen seats, in Ward 1 Steve Barker has filed to run for another term and is unopposed. In Ward 2, Dorothy Crawford did not file to run for another term, Kenny Lewey filed to run for Ward 2 alderman and is unopposed. And, in Ward 3, longtime alderman Mike Hobler filed to run for another term and is unopposed.
