âNine new sculptures were placed in downtown Fenton last week. They include âSixth Fireâ by Cynthia McKean, âKaleidoscopeâ by Pam Reithmeier, âTriathlonâ by Todd Kime and âSurelyâ by D.W. Martin, âWomen Ironworkâ and âThe Four Windsâ both by Mike Sohikian, âPower Outageâ by D.W. Martin, Annâs Arborâ by Todd Kime and âRiseâ by James Oleson.
John Strayer, chair of the sculpture selection committee, said these sculptures will remain in Fenton for one year. The Midwest Sculpture Initiative runs a program in which municipalities can rent artwork for a year and have the option to buy the pieces. Behind Your Design created a brochure and map for a walking tour of all the sculptures in downtown Fenton.
