Excalibur welcomed us to Dark. He was joined by Taz and Anthony Ogogo on commentary…
1. M’ Badu and “TNT” Terrence and Terrell Hughes vs. Dustin Rhodes, QT Marshall, and Nick Comoroto. Comoroto denied both Terrence and Terrell at the start of the match, only to point at M’ Badu as he wanted Badu to enter the match. Comoroto had his back turned for a split second and TNT took advantage, but were taken down by Comoroto with a double clothesline. Terrence then hit a side slam on Marshall and followed through with the Death Valley Driver with the assistance from Terrell.

Greetings, comrades! It is I, your El President, reporting to you live from Mick Foley s house, where I am currently canceling him for making a fat joke about actor David Krumholtz after Krumholtz appeared on WWE Raw topless, dressed as Drew McIntyre in a spot usually reserved for a little person, designed for the sole purpose of mocking McIntyre due to Krumholtz s physical appearance. But sure. Mick Foley s the bad guy there. Haw haw haw haw! And no shame here. El Presidente has been known to let himself go a little bit too. But I m actually here to recap AEW Dark for you, comrades, so let s get right to it, okay!
Hey everyone! It’s Tuesday. You know what that means.
As a reminder, the GoFundMe for Larry Csonka’s daughters is still active. Please contribute and share if you can.
Let’s jump into this week’s episode of AEW Dark.
Miro (1-0) vs. Fuego del Sol (0-1)
Our friend Fuego is going to get a win at some point. I know he is. However, I do not think his first win is going to come against THE BEST MAN. He’s the best. Miro just destroyed poor Fuego in this match and forced him to tap out at 2:36. We even had Charles Taylor playing his role to perfection.
The Big Takeaways:
-1 was a delight on commentary on an edition of Dark that was anchored by both solid women’s and tag team matches.
Show Recap:
It’s Tuesday, and you know what that means: time for AEW Dark. Taz, Ricky Starks and Excalibur were on commentary for the opening matches.
One previously announced match didn t end up happening: Dustin Rhodes, QT Marshall and Nick Comoroto vs. Ryan Nemeth, Vary Morales and Shawn Dean.
Miro (w/ Kip Sabian, Penelope Ford and Charles Taylor) def. Fuego del Sol (2:38)
There is an ongoing Dark storyline of del Sol trying to hit a tornado DDT on any of his opponents. It did not happen here. After a superkick and Game Over where Miro bent all the way back (his shoulders were on the mat), del Sol tapped out.
AEW Dark recap (Jan. 26, 2021): Santana & Ortiz get their edge back

Episode 72 of
AEW Dark featured Santana & Ortiz getting their edge back and Peter Avalon may have a new monster-sized associate by his side.
There were two notable moments during the show courtesy of Santana & Ortiz and Peter Avalon. We’ll start with Proud and Powerful. They cut a promo about it being their time to eat. Consider that fair warning and beware. Santana & Ortiz backed up their words with an aggressive victory over Mike Verna & Ryzin. They disposed of Verna via assisted DVD. The win was so dominant that Ryzin never had a chance to tag into the ring.
