Storms. People who live on the avenue in San Francisco say theyve been dealing with this problem for decades. Now, abc7 news learned the epa, the Environmental Protection agency has contacted the neighbors and told them theyve begun an investigation. This is raw sewage rushing into hems, basements, garages and contents, soaked. Walls, and floors, damaged. How many waste, bacteria, toxins and disease. San Francisco Puc says the sewage system here is old, and the area, historically, has been vulnerable to floods. They say theyre looking plans. The city has given up lip service. Oh, well look into it. Now, the federal Environmental Protection agency launched an investigation. The epa wrote to neighbors, its shares your concern and were working with the San Francisco bay Regional Water Quality Control board to evaluate concerns you have raised. The agency said in a statement to abc7 news, in part, epa will seek Additional Information from the Public Utilities commission in the next few weeks. Were expecting a storm tomorrow.
