“We really want to provide continuity for both lots of customers,” he said. “There’s whole families that have been customers here since the early days back when the pharmacy opened in ‘67,” he said. “Having that continuity, seeing children and grandchildren of customers, having that has been really cool.” Lyall hoped to see most of these familiar faces at the newly merged location, having received positive responses so far. Invercargill was going through a lot of change and he and his wife were looking forward to being part of the redeveloped CBD area. “It’s an exciting time, we really enjoy being part of the CBD, and we’re very excited about what’s happening, and what’s coming, not specifically in our pharmacy but the wider CBD,” he said.
KITCHENER Ontario has released an expanded list of pharmacies offering COVID-19 vaccines across the province, including many in Waterloo Region. The pharmacies will administer Moderna or Pfizer vaccines to eligible populations. Most pharmacies are booking appointments for people over the age of 40, while some are available to people 18 and older.
