Milford’s Bug & Bud Festival canceled
Downtown Milford Inc. and the City of Milford’s Park & Recreation Department have canceled the 17th Annual Bug & Bud Festival scheduled for Saturday, April 24. Due to the amount of planning, fundraising, volunteer time and uncertainty whether state of emergency restrictions might be lifted, the organizations decided this was the best course of action. Later this year, they will begin planning next year’s Bug & Bud Festival, scheduled for Saturday, April 23, 2022.
Unitarian Universalists to meet Feb. 28
The Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware will hold a live online service at 10 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 28. The Rev. Welcome to Medicare seminars set Feb. 24
Delaware Medicare Assistance Bureau and the Delaware Department of Insurance will host virtual Welcome to Medicare seminars at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 24. The bureau provides free, unbiased information and counseling to people covered by Medicare. DMAB and the Department of Insurance host free Welcome to Medicare events throughout the state. Many people who join Medicare have questions and concerns about their new, different type of health insurance.
