SANTA FE, N.M. Santa Fe’s International Folk Art Market may not be permitted to draw shoppers in the thousands this July, but some edited version of the annual event will prevail.
IFAM CEO Stuart Ashman said plans are underway for a reduced market featuring about 50 artists and 200 visitors from July 7-18. Organizers canceled last year’s market because of the pandemic.

“We’re working with the (New Mexico) Department of Tourism and they say we fit in with large entertainment venues, which right now are at 25% capacity,” Ashman said.
