We can t open up extra days, we can t do lunch service because we don t have staff, DanDan owner Dan Jacobs said.He said restaurants everywhere are struggling to get back workers who were laid off from jobs that typically offer low pay and lower job security. We abandoned our staff as an industry, and they ve gone to do other things, Jacobs said.
