ATLANTA — Saturday is a full moon and cause for some to celebrate.
New Buckhead restaurant Botica — featuring Chef Mimmo Alboumeh's fusion of flavors from Mexico and Spain — is taking the lunar event as a theme for the restaurant's Full Moon Party, from 6 to 11 p.m.
The event will be co-sponsored by Legends Vodka and will take advantage of the sizeable patio facing Peachtree Street.

Botica opened its doors in January in the place of the old "Watershed" at 1820 Peachtree Road, and features Alboumeh's take on street-style tacos and melange of tastes as diverse as the chef who traces his roots through Lebanon, Italy and Spain.

Botica by Chef Mimmo is the latest venture from the popular local chef and restauranteur, known for his popular eatery Red Pepper Taqueria. Featuring a fusion of Mexican and Spanish flavors, Botica opened earlier this month in the space which previously housed Watershed and currently serves lunch and dinner daily along with Saturday and Sunday brunch.
