The Sindh environment, climate change and coastal development department has sought nominations from the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) for inclusion in the committee set up to review the Sindh Environmental Protection Act (SEPA), 2014.
KARACHI: An advisory committee on the review of the Sindh Environmental Protection Act 2014 will be notified as soon as the required nominations are received from the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).
This was said by environment, climate change and coastal development secretary Mohammad Aslam Ghauri while speaking at the closing ceremony of a two-day symposium on integrated solid waste management.
The event was jointly organised by the KCCI, Society of Economic Geologists and Mineral Technologists (SEGMITE) and Sindh Environmental Protection Agency (Sepa).
